RBA Engineering International is proud to have been selected by HRCP JV and VDOT  as part of the I-64 Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel Expansion, a $ 3.8 billion megaproject. This transformative  project is the largest highway construction project in Virginia’s history and one of the largest infrastructure project in the United States, the project will widen the current four lane segments along nearly ten miles of the I-64 corridor between Hampton and Norfolk.

As part of our project’s scope of work, we completed a range of tasks, including the installation of scuppers, gravity walls, bridge column, foundation and caps, bridge decks and slipform barriers. In addition we installed precast copings, CIP (cast in place) inlets and concrete ditches. Our team worked tirelessly to ensure that each task was completed on time and within  budget, resulting in a successful project outcome.
