SLIPFORM AND HANDFORM BARRIERS

Concrete barriers are used construction projects such as roads, bridges and highways to provide safety and prevent vehicles from crossing over into the opposing lanes of traffic.

Slipform barriers are constructed using a specialized machine that forms the concrete into the desired shape, while handform barriers are constructed manually using forms and finishing tools.

  • Determining the appropriate dimensions, reinforcement, and formwork to use.
  • Preparing the site for the concrete barrier, leveling the ground, installing formwork pour the concrete.
  • Constructing the concrete barrier using slipform or handform, ensuring that it is properly consolidated and finished.
  • Allowig the concrete to cure for the appropriate amount of time.
  • Removing the formwork and conducting internal quality control and inspection, to ensure that the finished concrete barrier is safe functional and meets design specifications.
